AI and automated processing

Some JeevanPatra features use artificial intelligence. They are optional, need your separate consent, and produce drafts that a person checks. AI never makes a decision about your care on its own.

Safeguards

  • Both AI purposes are off by default. A doctor can run AI only for a named patient, within an active care relationship, and only if that patient has given AI-assisted care consent for that doctor.
  • Doctors must acknowledge our AI notice before using AI features.
  • Everything AI produces is a draft. The doctor reviews and edits it, and only what the doctor confirms becomes part of your record.
  • Only the minimum clinical context needed for the task is sent to the AI service.
  • We do not use AI for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.

Withdrawing AI consent

Withdraw a doctor's AI-assisted care permission in Consent, and switch off AI health insights in the Privacy Centre. The doctor can no longer run AI tasks on your data, their earlier AI outputs are restricted, and we record a deletion request to the AI provider. Ending a doctor's care relationship has the same effect. See consent and withdrawal.
